SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That sassa status is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area each day. The provider position made for intervention activities a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to empower the servicing of all clients and raise access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
